I’m drawn to complicated problems, ambitious ideas, and the people trying to make things work better.

My work has moved across consulting, campaigns, civic projects, and startups, usually somewhere between strategy and execution. Outside of work, I run long distances, travel often, and tend to collect new questions faster than I answer them.

I care a lot about cities, technology, public life, and the ways people and institutions shape the world around us.

Leokup is a play on my name and on the many meanings of “look up.”

To look up can mean to raise your eyes, to search for an answer, to reconnect with someone, or to see things begin to improve. I like that all of those meanings point toward curiosity, attention, and possibility.

The name started as a simple play on Leo + look up, but it has come to represent something bigger: an invitation to reconsider what we think we already know, notice what we might have missed, and keep looking for another way to see the world. I invite you to learn more at leokup.com
